Current VirtualBox Machine Information
We currently maintain three different versions of our Virtual Machine:
- Ubuntu 11.10
- Debian 6.0.3
The user name is user and the password by default is: apple01 .
Debian/Ubuntu commands
Copy & paste the below:
yes | sudo apt-get install \ aptitude \ aptitude-gtk \ build-essential \ # Pulls in GCC, libc headers, etc eclipse \ emacs \ g++ \ virtualbox-ose-guest-utils \ vim-gtk
Disable CD-ROM sources
sed 's/^\(.*cdrom*\)/# \1/' /etc/apt/sources.list

Download the VirtualBox virtualization host software at VirtualBox's site.
